Whether you can give an amount of time regularly, or your availability is more limited, we would be interested in talking to you!\nThe Commission is always on the look out for parishioners across the Leeds diocese who could give time to serve on the Commission.\n\nThe basic commitment would be to attend a meeting every quarter with one of those being a half day planning meeting. Most members also help with specific activities of the Commission \u2013 such as being on the steering group for one of our projects.\n\nFor more information simply email the Chair of the Commission (John Battle) at chair.jandp@dioceseofleeds.org.uk\nAt any one time we have a number of projects running. Each project is managed by  a Project Steering Group. Let us know if you would be interested in joining one of these working groups. Typically, they would involve a meeting once a quarter with some other work in-between meetings.\n\nProjects come from our Issue Action Groups \u2013 one for each of our priorities. If  you are passionate about something else then email us \u2013 perhaps you could help us to devise a project about it and seek funding for it.\nBear in mind that most of the activities described below do not require you to be in a particular location, such as the J&#038;P office at Hinsley Hall.\n\nCommunications is a key part of what the Commission does: raising awareness and sharing and celebrating what is happening across the Leeds Diocese. There are all sorts of activities around this that could be done by volunteers \n\nKeeping our contact database up to date\nManaging our posts on Facebook\nWriting or editing articles for our newsletter (or editing the whole newsletter for that matter!)\nAdding events to our website and checking and updating content on other parts of the website.\nWe would also be delighted to hear from anyone who has experience of applying to trust funds and religious foundations for project funding.\n\n\n\n\n<h2>donate<\/h2>\nAll donations go towards our activities on deepening awareness of social justice issues and inspiring people to take action.  Could you help by:\n<p><ul><li>\nPaying a regular amount to help the work of the Commission?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Making a one-off donation to the Commission?&nbsp;<\/li><li>Helping to fund a specific event or project?\nLeaving the Commission a legacy by making a provision in your will.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\n\n\n\nA regular donation to the Commission is a fantastic way of helping as it gives us more confidence about the income we are going to receive.\n\nSimply download the Standing Order Form, fill it out, sign it and post it back to us and we will take care of sending it to your bank.\nLegacies are a great way to ensure that work for Justice &#038; Peace can continue into the future in the Leeds Diocese.\n\nIf you want to discuss this with someone then please email treasurer.jandp@dioceseofleeds.org.uk and the  Treasurer will get in touch.\n\n\nMake a one off or a regular donation to our work by using the Leeds Diocese My Giving page for the Commission.\nINCREASE THE VALUE OF YOUR DONATION BY 25%.\n\nIf you are a taxpayer then you can increase the value of any donation by Gift Aiding it. It\u2019s another form but it is very simple to fill out.
