They support refugees to rebuild their lives, integrate into communities and play a part in Britain.\n\n\nIn Leeds and Bradford the SVP centres undertake a lot of work with asylum seekers. They operate a number of different projects.\nLeeds is also a City of Sanctuary \u2013 part of a movement to build a culture of hospitality for people seeking sanctuary in the UK.\n\n\nPAFRAS aims to end destitution, increase access to social justice and advocate for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds.\nA newer charity working in Leeds is LEDAS \u2013 working to provide accommodation and support for destitute asylum seekers who have no recourse to public funds.\n\n\n

Huddersfield<\/h3>\n\n\nThis organisation helps new refugees and asylum seekers in the Kirklees area.\n\nThey provide hosting, Drop-ins, English classes and social activities.\n\n\n\n\n
